Have your artwork framed by our in-house conservation framer.
There will be a choice of 3 frames: our standard black, brown and white frames with 3 glass options: Perspex Mounted, Perspex Floated and Glass Mounted. Perspex is better than glass for shipping. ‘Floated’ means that the glass is held a little way off the image – this is beneficial because it protects and preserves the artwork better than if it were touching the glass.
Choose from 2 different styles of mounting: Standard; where the image is simply mounted onto backing board, leaving its edges visible, or Window; where the image, once Standard Mounted, has another piece of specially cut and measured board with a window removed from its middle applied over the top, exposing the work whilst concealing its edges. We recommend Standard Mounting alone for works on high-quality, handmade paper, in order to leave attractive deckle edges visible.
All items are packed to the highest standard as ensuring that artworks arrive in perfect condition is a top priority.
Authenticity
Most of our paintings and limited edition prints will be signed and numbered by the artist. A small number of our artworks will be authenticated in other ways, and this will be clearly stated in the artwork description on our website. All our artworks are accompanied by a Kounter Kulture certificate of authenticity.
